Some David Bowie appreciation...

Not that it's his birthday, I just thought we should share a moment of David Bowie appreciation. And yes, I know. More You Tube.
Oh how I loved Jareth. I never understood why Sarah didn't work out a deal with him so that they could both stay in the Goblin City. Oh I would have. I still watch this movie quite regularly. My children will know all the lines just like me (Wiggles be damned!). Well?

A little Blixa goodness..

I have to share this with you. I remember when I first saw it I wasn't sure whether to be dramatically and emotionally 'moved' or whether to crack up. I love Blixa - he was a long time member of The Bad Seeds (Nick Cave is a Demi-God, of this I am sure - oh I could write great diatribes on the awesomeness that is Nick Cave. Mayhap I will, another day). He used to lend much of the deep (and oft sinister) vocals on Bad Seeds tracks. Watch it all the way through - you'll be rewarded with a very dramatic scream at the end!

And just cause I feel like it, here is The Weeping Song, with a much younger Blixa and Mr Cave.
