Goddess Dolls...

Using the new wool felt squares I bought I am finally happy with my Goddess Dolls! I’ll make a few more this week and send them off to the shop. I am going for the rustic look – I want them to look less like a 21^st Century Hedge Witch made them and more like a 12^th Century Hedge Witch stitched them up – I think it works, with the simple design, wool felt and wool embroidery. They feel beautiful too, and I really enjoyed embroidering the spiral (thinking about Goddess all the while, to imbibe the doll with her energy). They’d be perfect for pagan babies too, as there are no small parts. I haven’t named the Goddess Dolls, because I want them to be YOUR Goddess. Most pleased, I am!
