I've gone creative craft crazy, and it feels soooo good. Huh, that sounded kinda dirty. I have put together these little gems, and can't wait for them to be all fitted out. I have great aspirations for how they will look when finished, despite their being inexpensive craft kit stamped wood pieces. It's all in the finishing, right? And you're never too old for doll houses either, I don't care what you say. Besides it's not just for me, it's also for future-daughter. Except she may not get a chance to play with them, I might well be hogging them ALL THE TIME. If I could, I would shrink down and sleep in them. Except the ladders instead of stairs thing is a kind of inconvenient way to get from one floor of the house to the other. And the lack of plumbing. And they would be a bit chilly in winter, what with the whole back of the house missing. I have bought the 'no-more-gaps' putty stuff, and the undercoat, and then it will be all about the decorating (the best bit). I now have about fifteen projects going at once, but being that I am a) A Woman, and b) A Gemini, this is of course not a problem. Must not let any of them turn into UFO's though, right (un-finished-objects, not flying saucers). Ooh, aliens, what can I make with/for/about aliens? I have also bought some lovely scrap booking papers to turn into wallpaper once I'm all undercoated. Any ideas for external colouring? The furniture is going to take some time...
Pretty houses!
I did a miniature post a while back; you might get some ideas from there: http://www.shadowmanor.com/blog/?p=411
